Doula, Pregnancy and Mother & Baby Yoga Instructor

Sima was born in İstanbul in 1975. Her background is in music, ballet and theater. She graduated from Istanbul University’s Italian Language and Literature Department. She married Özgür in 2003 and gave birth to her first baby Peri in 2004 and her second bay Sirin in 2010. Her outlook on life started to change from her first pregnancy onwards. With her babies she started to search, learn and discover once again, from the beginning. After many years of working in the private sector she changed her way to arrive where she is right now, where she has a very strong sense of belonging. She loves being surrounded by babies and pregnant women. She believes that the moment of birth and the way we begin our lives is incredibly important. Her favorite book is "Birth Without Violence" by Frederick Leboyer. She trusts in nature and believes in miracles. She wishes positive, joyful and gentle births to everyone - those who are waiting to give birth to their babies and to birth workers.
