Clémence Jeay
Osteopath
Clémence Jeay is an osteopath D.O. from France. She graduated from CEESO Lyon in 2010 and then attended a year of specialisation mostly in pediatrics and pregnancy. Until 2015, she worked for 5 years in a private practice in France treating patients with variety of conditions including future mums and new born. During this period, she helped women dealing with pregnancy side effects such as sciatic, lower back or contracted uterus induced pains. She also prepared many future mums to giving birth by working on their pelvic bones, muscles and ligaments, in order to ease delivery. She also helped new mums in turning back to their body balance by working on areas that got tensed during pregnancy as well as working on C section scars so that they would not lead to problems in the future . Finally, Clémence treated new born with conditions such as plagiocephaly, reflux, sleeping issues, colic, torticollis or sucking problems.
She is also, a part time teacher in Scuola Superiore di Osteopatia Italiana in Torino since 2010, where she teaches anatomy, physiology, osteopathic technics and runs preparation for clinical sessions. She assisted seminaries about emotion and body response links, psychology’s influence on physical health. Thanks to these experiences, she discovered various alternative technics and shaped her approach to osteopathy. She frequently uses somato-emotional therapy tools to include the mind in the treatment as much as the body.
In 2015 she moved to Istanbul but continues giving and attending seminaries in Italy and worldwide to improve her knowledge in the areas that passionate her: osteopathy, baby care, body wellness and somato-emotional therapy.
